At Privatbrauerei Schweiger, we are very attached to our home town of Markt Schwaben. Our beers have a long tradition of handcrafting, something our family is still very much committed to today.
Our involvement in the region around Markt Schwaben has always been a matter of honour for us: the raw materials for our beer specialities all originate from this area. Sustainability, has therefore been a practised tradition at Privatbrauerei Schweiger for over eight decades.
In addition, quality is of great significance to us. Since the first brew kettle was purchased by Ludwig Schweiger, the artisan craft of beer brewing with heart and soul has been more important to us than the sterile mass-production of beer. This is also one reason why we are among the few remaining breweries that still malts its own malted barley today. Our own brewer’s lab rounds off the artisan approach of our brewery that is located to the east of Munich.
