Bouquet Delicate hoppy aromas

Flavour Initially slightly sweet with a touch of bitterness. Then comes the dry and thirst- slaking aftertaste.

Store in a cool place, away from the sun.

Ideal pouring temperature: 3°C

Take a rinsed Primus glass that has drained but is not dry. Carefully pour the beer. Do not let the bottle touch the rim of the glass or the foam. Start by holding the glass at an angle of 45°. Gradually bring this to a vertical position to create a good head.

Primus pilsner owes its name to Jan Primus, the Duke of Brabant. He was one of the most powerful feudal lords of all times.

He reformed the currency system and breathed new life into trade. When he won the battle at Woeringen in 1288 against the Archbishop of Cologne, he was able to unite Limburg and Brabant. This allowed him to keep trade routes safe and he helped Brabant grow into a prosperous state within the Holy Roman Empire.

He showed his appreciation for beer by the special privileges he granted to brewers.
